We love reading reviews and recommendations - because they always brighten our day! We feel so lucky that so many of our guests take the time to tell others about their experiences at Upthorpe Lodges. Sometimes it's just a few kind words, and other times it can be quite a story. Either way we don't mind, as long as they keep reassuring us that we're doing the right thing. We're pleased to say that they always do! Each lodge has its own guest book enabling guests to tell us what they think, and to recommend local attractions. We're also featured in online reviews...
TripAdvisor Excellence Awards
Every year for the past few years we've received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award. This has been such an honour, as they are only awarded to the top ten establishments in the world, and come as a result of guest feedback. We aim to reply to every review to say a big thank-you to guests who have taken time to share their experiences. Often they also praise the various attractions, restaurants and pubs that we have nearby. We're very grateful to them.
Google Five-Star Reviews
We’re so pleased that many of our guests have taken the time to place a Google review, and we now have many to look back at. We won’t rest on our laurels though, and we’ll keep on striving to earn top reviews.
Airbnb Award us Superhost Status
Every six months, Airbnb announce which hosts will be awarded their 'Superhost' status. We're pleased to say that we've received this award consecutively now for several years, and it goes a long way to reassuring prospective guests that we're a great place to stay. Past Airbnb guests are asked to give reviews for cleanliness, facilities, and of course how well we have communicated with them - from the moment they make a booking. For those guests who wish to book this way, we greatly appreciate your feedback.
